Archive for the Uncategorized CategoryHere are the official NJSC 2007 results lists: results-total-official.txt (70 KB) The FINA Point Scoring system allows comparisons of results among different events, by assigning point values to swimming performances using a mathematical formula. 1000 points or more is considered a ‘world class performance’, while slower times get fewer points. By using this system, we can determine the greatest performances of the 2007 NJSC. The top 20 FINA point scores at the 2007 NJSC were:

Unfortunately, one swimmer is not yet taken into account in our swim meet software, but by correcting it manually we get the following score:
We are having minor problems with the point scoring system – one (successful) Danish swimmer is for mysterious reasons not being taken into account. But it is quite certain that the Swedes won 😉

The Danes won the last race (4 x 200 free) by one hundredth of a second. Daniel Svendsen here saved the day for the Danes.
