Officials have marched in, the vice president of the Faroese sport federation is speaking and the competition is about to begin. We’ll have some pictures for you shortly.

This website greeted me with a ‘no database connection’ message this morning. Looking at the statistics, it seems to have been down all night, after having had quite a lot of visits.

Apologies to everyone, but now I worry that this will not be the last crash this weekend, as our web host probably throttles the site when the number of visits is high.

Attached is the first draft of the NJSC 2007 start list.

It is now clear that a total of 89 swimmers will compete in the 2007 Nordic Swimming Championships, from all member countries of the Nordic Swimming Federation:

  • Denmark: 8 girls and 8 boys
  • Sweden: 8 girls and 8 boys
  • Norway: 6 girls and 6 boys
  • Iceland: 5 girls and 5 boys
  • Finland: 8 girls and 8 boys
  • Estonia: 4 girls and 4 boys
  • Faroe Islands: 6 girls and 5 boys

In total 45 girls and 44 boys. The final entries are due on November 24th, where after we will try to have the start list ready for you here as soon as possible.

Update! There was an error in the Final Entry Form, and it has therefore been replaced here with a new version.
