The FINA Point Scoring system allows comparisons of results among different events, by assigning point values to swimming performances using a mathematical formula. 1000 points or more is considered a ‘world class performance’, while slower times get fewer points. By using this system, we can determine the greatest performances of the 2007 NJSC.
The top 20 FINA point scores at the 2007 NJSC were:

The official point score system of the Nordic Junior Swimming Championships is (as far as we have been briefed):
- in individual events: 1st place scores 9 points, then 7-6-5-4-3-2-1
- in relay events: 1st place scores 18 points, then 14-12-10-8-6-4-2
Unfortunately, one swimmer is not yet taken into account in our swim meet software, but by correcting it manually we get the following score:
- Sweden, 470 points
- Denmark, 318 points
- Finland, 268 points
- Norway, 149 points
- Estonia, 137 points
- Iceland, 113 points
- Faroe Islands, 76 points

We are having minor problems with the point scoring system – one (successful) Danish swimmer is for mysterious reasons not being taken into account.
But it is quite certain that the Swedes won 😉

The router looses power in a moment, so there will be a break now in our uploading. But we will continue uploading videos this afternoon, and in the meanwhile you can check out the results at LiveTiming.se and watch pictures from today in our Picasa Web Album.

The Danes won the last race (4 x 200 free) by one hundredth of a second. Daniel Svendsen here saved the day for the Danes.
